GVP is the grateful recipient of two recent grants. In December 2009, the Claneil Foundation awarded $40,000 in capacity building funds, which largely enabled GVP to hire Zoe Selzer, Managing Director. The Fels Foundation awarded an additional $10,000 in capacity building funds in January 2010. These funds and the addition of a Managing Director will enable GVP effectively engage project partners and meet our primary objectives: to work with a diverse group of stakeholders to build Philadelphia’s first urban eco-village and to further its educational programs promoting sustainable neighborhood revitalization.
